Telefónica secures office space
Telefónica, represented by Cluttons, completed the acquisition of 50,000 sq ft of office space, with options for additional space, in a new development by The Crown Estate at 20 Air Street, close to Piccadilly Circus.
This is the first office acquisition for Telefónica conducted by the agency team, and linked to Cluttons national estate management remit for Telefónica, and is to be the international HQ of Telefónica Digital, an entirely new division announced in September 2011.
The offices form two impressive floors within this leading edge development that includes "fuel cell" technology.
The building has achieved BREEAM "Excellent" and EPC "Band B" ratings and won the Estates Gazette's "Sustainability Initative of the Year" award last December.
